Blue Lake Conditions

The Black Hole in the Weed Bed has stretched and stretched and now touches shore due west.  I’m sure this next bit of news will be sure to rile up certain summer vacationers but Seagull Island and surrounding reeds are now readily apparent, bulging and bending in the inky waters.  Most of Blue Lake, however, remains frozen at the edges, with deep, long fissures cracking across the lake and cold, cold water seeping through the crevices.  Adding to the strange hollow melodies of the transforming lake, hammers bang out construction rhythms during daylight, preparing for the visitors to come.
