Questionable Area near Hacker Drive

A stealthy source forwarded this Google Earth photograph of a large clearing which used to be part of the old Hacker Drive – Sutton Road secret access path to me with a most intriguing question:

  • What is its purpose?

The stealthy source estimates that the open area is 200 X 300 yards and the structure on the north side of the area is 80 X 60 ft.

    Well sleuthed!

The Stealthy Source additionally provided an update utilizing a tax records search leading to further information about the farm LLC which then illuminated this acreage’s nickname ’round these parts as “The Seidel Property”. So, we now know the owner(s) but, as the Stealthy Source remarks, we still don’t know its purpose.

The last eyewitness encounter with the property that I personally know about is approximately 10 to 15 years ago. Maybe I was even there. If so, I can’t recall.

Is the use of the property directly related to the owner’s profession or is it truly of an agricultural ilk? What’s hiding in the big shed? Gardening tools? Recreational equipment? An alien spacecraft?

Will we ever know the answers to these pressing questions with the vague angle the Google Earth satellite photographers insist on taking of the Northwoods?

The tax bill is sent to the same address as Barry & Donah Seidel who are medical professionals, unless they have retired.
    Hobby farm? Horses?

Agreeably, odds are there’s probably a simple explanation like farming or horse-raising and it’s not the site of a secret Dr. Frankenstein operation… but nothing can be ruled out quite yet.

Y’all are making really compelling observations… and yet… the Stealthy Source reportedly took a walk near the area, was immediately pursued by two wolf-like creatures (not his), escaped into the woods, almost immediately experienced unnatural disorientation and ended up miles from his intended destination way on down Blue Lake Road. Very odd.
