Bring Ides of March Back to St. Germain

Town Crier to St. Germain Chamber of Commerce: Rehash this good omen!

A grassroots movement by music appreciators, art lovers, wonderstruck midwesterners, groupies and hippies of yore, is underway to bring the phenomenally fantastic, and Blue Lake-friendly, rock-funk band Ides of March back to St. Germain for the 2010 music / barbecue-eating season. The Ides of March, noted for their chart topper Vehicle, the brilliant song-writing abilities of vocalist Jim Peterik (Eye of the Tiger) and the ultra-groovy bass playing of founding member and Blue Lake’s own Bob Bergland, rocked an astonished audience at the 2009 Pig in the Pines Rib Fest in St. Germain.  Spectators, in short order, exploded with praise:

“Amazing!  The best concert I’ve ever been to!”
“Consistently fantastic in every way!”
“[The Ides of March are] 100% committed to delivering an excellent show.”
“They had cool guitars and came out into the audience!”

A 17-year-old girl accordingly raved, “[Jim Peterik] is buff!” while a middle-aged mom gushed, “He reminds me of Mick Jagger.”

If you are interested in having the Northwoods re-host an Ides of March extravaganza, or perhaps you missed this superlative act, contact the St. Germain Chamber of Commerce to express your interest.
