A continuation of The Other Minocqua:
A strange, scientifically-proven phenomenon happens as winter settles over the Northwoods. Exposure to extreme polar temperatures cause Wisconsin-specific, hyper-stimulation to the brain’s nucleus accumbens. This means, in layman’s terms, that Minoccupants develop complex, sensitive, internal humor centers during this time of year.
How else does a killer whale end up beached, in the middle of winter, on Lake Minocqua?
The Whale, apparently an ice shack, is located, oddly undisturbed, on Lake Minocqua, alongside Highway 51 by Save More.

Thank you for helping to share the laugh. It is built using the same foam insulation used in insulating Homes. The plan is to build a different one every year for a while, or until people tire of it. It is very comfortable inside. If you would like a mini tour, let me know. ronmcmullin@gmail.com
At certain angles one can see the head of a loon screaming to get out of the ice!
I would love to take a mini tour. What do I need to do?
For the whale tour, I will probably have an informal open house Saturday. Anyone that wants to stop by can. Otherwise, call me at 715 892 1472. Ron
Awesome, thanks Ron! I will be sure to send my proxy over on Saturday!
