Snowy Kayak Ride

20 Nov

Bundle up and hop inside the snowy kayak for an inside video tour of snow-decked Blue Lake.  On Sunday, November 20th, a snowy kayak launched into ol’ Blue for a concluding spin of 2011.  While the lake is not yet frozen, frost biting temperatures, harbinger snowfall and the rumble of early morning plows all suggest that something icy is about to happen… and soon.

From Captain Provost, “I wish I could’ve been out there longer but freezing, damp air made the ride rather chilly.  For anyone wondering what that clump is in the foreground, it’s a mix of ice and leaves frozen to the kayak.”

From Your Editor, “I hope everyone had a safe and enjoyable weekend be it shooting deer with guns, snuggling by fireplaces, squeezing in pre-Thanksgiving holiday shopping, exhibiting beautiful art at the shows, or carousing in scandalous area casino events.”

FYI: There are two ways to enjoy Snowy Kayak.  Watch it below, or, if the servicer has decide to arbitrarily suspend my audio again, click on the Vimeo Picture to watch it there.  Cheers!
